On-device by default
Your voice becomes text on your phone. Nothing is sent to a server by default. An optional cloud Pro tier is planned and opt-in, not in this build.
Works offline
Download your language once, then dictate with the network off, on a train, in a basement, on weak signal. Wispr needs the cloud to transcribe at all.
Works in any app on Android
Betterflo's floating mic (plus a full keyboard) lets you dictate into any app you already use. Wispr's Android app is in beta; desktop is where it's strongest.
Tuned for Indian languages
Eleven Indian languages, including Hindi-English mid-sentence switching. Generic engines treat that switch as an error.

- Indian languages
This is the real difference. Wispr's engine wasn't made for the way India switches Hindi and English inside one sentence, "kal meeting hai, don't forget". Betterflo is built for exactly that.
- AI cleanup
Straight fact: Wispr's automatic cleanup is more polished than ours today. Ours stays light-touch by design — it fixes punctuation and casing, it doesn't reword you — and it gets better with use. Rewording is a separate, deliberate tap: Fix, Tone, Rewrite and Translate sit on the keyboard and run on your phone, and a rewrite appears beside your own line so keeping your words is one of the answers. Fix, Tone and Rewrite need a small model you download and can't run on the lowest device tier; Translate works on every tier. Wispr does this too — theirs runs on their servers.

Text streams in as you speak too, but only on phones with the headroom to run it — the lightest phones still wait for you to finish. See what your phone gets.
- Price
Unlimited on-device dictation is free, for real. Our Pro price isn't set yet, it'll be in rupees, and we won't quote a number we haven't committed to.
Straight up: Wispr is ahead of us on cleanup polish, platform breadth, and raw resources, they're a well-funded team with a head start. Betterflo is built for India first: private and bilingual, on the phone people here actually own. We'd rather tell you that than hide it.
