Tester program · open to anyone

Tell us what breaks. Keep Pro for 12 months.

betterflo is live on Google Play. Install it, use it in the apps you actually type in, and tell us what breaks as you hit it. Testers whose reports we can act on earn 12 months of Pro, free, from the day Pro launches — no invite list, no cap, and no conditions that aren't written on this page.

How it works

Three steps, and the third one is the only one that takes effort.

There is no application to fill in and nobody to wait on. You are a tester the moment you start sending things we can use.

1

Install it

Free on Google Play, no account. If you already have it, you have already done this step.

2

Use it for a while

In the apps you really type in, in the languages you really speak. Ordinary use over a few days finds more than an hour of trying to break it.

3

Report what breaks

The form asks four things and takes about five minutes. Send one each time something goes wrong, while it is still fresh — that is the whole entry fee.

What counts

A report we can act on — and why each part matters.

“It gets Hindi wrong” is a feeling, and we believe you, but nobody can fix it. These four turn the same complaint into something reproducible.

What you get

Four things, and the first one is the point.

12 months of Pro, free

The day Pro launches, a Google Play promo code lands in your inbox. The 12 months run from that day — not from the day you send the report, so nothing expires while you wait.

New builds before anyone else

Testers get the next version while it is still being shaped, when saying "this is wrong" still changes it. That is the whole point of testing early rather than reviewing late.

A reply from the people who build it

Every report is read by someone who can change the code, and answered by them. No ticket number, no first-line script, no bot asking you to restart your phone.

Your report moves the roadmap

What testers hit repeatedly is what gets built next. The roadmap is public and staged by certainty, so you can watch your own report move up it.

New builds arrive through the Play testing track you can join above.

The small print

All of it, in plain words.

A perk with unwritten conditions is how a good offer turns into an argument. So here are the conditions, all of them.

  • It is earned by testing, not by one submission. Report what you hit as you hit it, through the test — a single line saying it does not work is not a report.
  • More reports do not stack into more months. The perk is the same whether you send three or thirty; sending them is what makes you a tester.
  • We tell you by email once your reports have earned it, and again before Pro launches — you are never left guessing whether you qualified.
  • The code goes to the Google account address you give us, because that is the account a Play promo code can be redeemed on.
  • Reports have to come from your own use of the app. A forwarded review or a copied bug report is not one.
  • Pro is not built yet. If it never ships, there is nothing to redeem — we would rather write that here than let you find out later.

What we keep from the form, and for how long, is in the privacy policy.

Your turn

Send the first one.

Five minutes, four questions, and no sign-up between you and the form. If it is useful, you will hear back from the person who fixes it — and then send the next one.
