Betterflo runs on-device by default. Recognition, voice-activity detection and translation are built on open-source models and libraries created by other people. This page names them and reproduces the attributions their licenses require.

Betterflo itself is published by MOBILEBYTESENSEI PVT LTD and licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (MPL-2.0).

Components are downloaded over the network as files, verified against a checksum before use, and then run entirely on your device. That is a request for bytes, not a path your data travels — see the Privacy Policy for what does and does not leave your device.

Two attributions this page exists to carry

Most of the work above is permissively licensed and asks for nothing beyond what is reproduced here. Two carry a specific obligation that is easy to get wrong, and both are website-facing — not satisfied by an in-app screen alone.

A component licensed CC-BY-4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International) requires attribution wherever the work is distributed, not only inside the app. This page is one of the surfaces that discharges that requirement: that component is the work of NVIDIA, licensed under CC BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). No changes are asserted here beyond packaging the released weights for on-device inference.

One Apache-2.0 component is credited to alphacep, its licensor — not to the mirror it was fetched from, which declares no license of its own. Apache-2.0 travels with the work, not with whoever re-hosts it, so crediting the mirror would name the wrong party.

Evaluated, not shipped, and not to be read as cleared

One component was evaluated during benchmarking and does not ship — nothing installs it on a device. Its license is unresolved rather than merely unreproduced here: its documentation states one license in prose, its published metadata states another, its own repository’s LICENSE file is empty, and the mirror used for benchmarking declares no license at all. A mirror cannot grant a license the original never did, so this page records it as unresolved rather than silently clearing it by omission.

Evaluation data

Corpora used to measure accuracy are used on development machines only and are not distributed with the app. They carry their own terms and are out of scope for this page.
