Roadmap · intent, not a promise

Sorted by how sure we are — not by dates.

Honest roadmaps don't hand out delivery dates they can't keep. So this one is staged by certainty: what's shipping in the app today, what we're building next, and what's further out — every opt-in path off by default.

  1. Now · shipping— shipped now
  2. Next · building— up next
  3. Later · opt-in, off by default— later

No promised dates on this page. When something's real, it moves up a stage.

Now · shipping

In the build you can install today.

These aren't plans — they're what the app on your phone already does, on-device.

Live today

On-device dictation

Press the mic in any app and speak; your phone turns it into text. No server, no round-trip — the recognition runs on the device in your hand.

Live today

Eleven languages

Nine more Indian languages have joined Hindi and English, tuned for the way you switch between them mid-sentence — recognised as one flow, not two half-guesses. Which ones your phone can run depends on its RAM; see what yours gets.

Live today

Floating mic, and a keyboard you can type on

By default a mic bubble floats over any app and inserts your text via an accessibility service — you'll see exactly what it reads before you grant it. The keyboard is a real one: a key grid with a word-suggestion strip above it and the mic key beside the space bar — so dictation is one key, not the only thing it does.

Live today

Fix, Tone, Rewrite and Translate

An action bar above the keys, running on your phone. A rewrite is offered beside your own line and replaces nothing until you choose it — keeping your words is a first-class answer. Fix, Tone and Rewrite need a small model you download and can't run at all on the lowest device tier; Translate works on every tier. None of it is Pro: the phone decides, see what yours runs.

Live today

Works fully offline

A one-time model download, then no internet needed. It keeps working on the metro with no signal — offline is the default path, not a fallback.

Live today

Light-touch cleanup

Punctuation and casing, fixed on-device on every dictation. This automatic pass tidies what you said — it doesn't reword it or invent things you didn't say. Rewording is the action bar's job, and only when you ask for it.

Next · building

What we're working on.

Real intent, honest status: these are planned and not in the current build. Each ships only when it's genuinely good on-device.

Stage 2 of 3 · Building
Planned — not in this build

Sharper on-device cleanup

Better punctuation and fewer slips in the automatic pass every dictation gets — the one that runs without you asking, not the keyboard's on-demand Fix. Still entirely on your phone, and swappable, so it can improve without changing how you type.

Planned — not in this build

Context awareness

Cleanup that reads the field you're in, so a quick search box and a long email get the right amount of polish — still on-device, still your words.

Later · opt-in, off by default

Further out — and only if you say yes.

These are things we're exploring, not commitments. Every one is off by default. If we build them, we'll tell you plainly before anything leaves your device — that rule doesn't change.

Stage 3 of 3 · Exploring
Planned · opt-in · off by default

On-device personalization

betterflo learning your names and phrases, on your phone, to get you right more often. A separate, opt-in program could let you choose to help improve the models — never on silently, never a condition of using the app.

Planned · opt-in · price TBA

Optional cloud "Pro" tier

For the moments a phone can't do alone, an opt-in cloud mode for extra quality. It's upside, not a paywall around basic dictation. Pricing isn't set — so there's no number to show you here yet.

Planned · opt-in · off by default

Multi-device sync

Carrying your personal dictionary across your devices, if you choose to. Opt-in, and only what you ask to sync — nothing goes anywhere by default.

On-device stays the default. Anything cloud or shared is opt-in — off unless you turn it on.

Tester program

What testers report is what moves up this page.

Nothing here is scheduled by guesswork. The problems people hit repeatedly are the ones that get built next, and a report is how something gets on the list.

Start where it's real

Skip the promises. Try what ships today.

Everything under "Now" is live in the app — on-device, offline, free to start. That's the honest place to begin.

Keeping it honest

This page is intent, not a contract. Cards shift, split, or drop as we learn — and we'll never dress a plan up as a shipped feature.
